YOMACREATIVES / PRIVACY
Privacy notice.
Who is responsible
Jason Clarke-Ejuren trades as YomaCreatives, a UK-based, remotely operated sponsorship brokerage, and is the controller of the information covered by this notice. Contact hello@yomacreatives.com about your information or privacy rights.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry, we collect the contact details and message you provide. Brand briefs may include your company, country, website, campaign, audience, budget, currency, deliverables and timing. Creator registrations may include your channel, platform, niche, audience size, recent content performance, audience countries, rates, availability and the contact choices you make. Optional fields can be left blank. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or information about other people that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Our hosting and form providers may also process technical request details, including IP addresses, to deliver the website, protect it and filter spam.
Why we use your information
We use it to respond, assess campaign requirements and potential sponsorship matches, and manage the discussions you request. Our legitimate interests are running the brokerage and handling relevant business enquiries; where you personally request steps towards a contract, we may also process information for those steps. We use information required for legal obligations on that basis, and necessary records to establish or defend legal claims on the basis of our legitimate interests.
Creator registration is non-exclusive, creates no representation appointment and does not guarantee sponsorship. We record the separate optional choice for future-opportunity emails. Where those emails rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by replying or contacting us. Declining that optional choice does not prevent us responding to your registration. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
Who handles your information
Netlify hosts the website and processes submitted forms. YomaCreatives reviews enquiries directly. Notifications and correspondence use our Google Workspace business mailbox; Google Workspace may also hold the records we need to manage an enquiry. We share relevant information with a potential campaign counterpart as discussed with you, and with advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims.
Processing outside the UK
Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement, sections 14.2–14.4, describes reliance on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the UK transfer addendum where that framework does not apply. Google’s Workspace Cloud Data Processing Addendum, section 10.2, describes the applicable transfer protections. Its Alternative Transfer Solution notice identifies the UK Extension to that framework for relevant UK-to-US transfers. Where the applicable framework does not cover a restricted transfer, the relevant contractual transfer safeguards apply. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep it
We delete or anonymise inactive enquiries and registrations 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless an ongoing campaign, a legal obligation or a documented need to handle a claim justifies retaining specific records longer. We review inactive records monthly and apply the policy to relevant form submissions, mailbox copies and working records.
Contracts, financial records, consent evidence and minimal opt-out records are handled separately according to their purpose and any applicable legal duties. We retain only what is necessary, review the need periodically and document exceptions. Minimal opt-out records help us honour objections without retaining a full enquiry indefinitely.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information. Depending on the circumstances, you may also request a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights depend on the applicable conditions.
Email hello@yomacreatives.com to make a request. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Providing information and using links
You are not legally obliged to submit an enquiry. We need the required fields to assess and answer it. This version adds no advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Links to social platforms take you to services with their own privacy practices.
